Booking Terms

These terms apply to every transfer booked on this website or arranged with Istanbul Transfer Shuttle by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp. By confirming a booking you accept them.

1. The booking

A booking is a private transfer in the vehicle type you choose, between the two points, on the date and at the time you enter. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation e-mail with a booking code. Please check the details in that e-mail and tell us at once if anything is wrong.

2. Information you give us

• Enter the correct pick-up and drop-off address or hotel, date and time.
• For airport pick-ups, give your flight number. We use it to follow your flight.
• Give the true number of passengers and pieces of luggage, including children and infants. If the group does not fit the vehicle you booked, we may have to send a larger vehicle at its own price or carry fewer people.
• Give a phone number on which we can reach you on the day of travel, ideally with WhatsApp.

3. Price and payment

The price shown when you book is for the whole vehicle and includes motorway and bridge tolls, fuel and the waiting time described below. It does not change because of traffic. Payment is made as shown in your booking: in cash to the driver, or by card online where this option is offered. Extra stops or changes requested on the day are charged separately and agreed with you before the journey.

4. Waiting time

• Airport arrivals: your driver waits up to 60 minutes after your flight's actual landing time.
• Hotels and other addresses: your driver waits up to 15 minutes after the booked time.

If you cannot reach the meeting point within these times, contact us; if we cannot reach you, the transfer may be treated as a no-show.

5. Children and luggage

Tell us in advance if you need a child seat. Normal luggage (one suitcase and one small bag per passenger) is included; wheelchairs, bicycles or unusually large items must be mentioned when you book.

6. On board

Smoking, alcohol and behaviour that endangers the driver or other passengers are not allowed. Seat belts must be worn. The driver may refuse to carry a passenger who does not follow these rules; in that case no refund is due.

7. Delays and events outside our control

We plan every journey with a margin for Istanbul traffic. We are not responsible for missed flights, appointments or connections caused by accidents, road closures, extreme weather, official restrictions or other events outside our control, or by information you gave us incorrectly.
